Spottings of Spring

I know that this is happening all around the country. I know that my pictures are not unique. But they bring me so much joy! Let me never grow complacent of the fact that even with nighttime temps still below freezing, it is baked into the universe to push hope up from the ground in March!

Take a minute and look at the light vs shadows in these pics. I’m kinda fascinated! The list of birds comes from the (very impressive!) Merlin Bird app, created by the bird lab at Cornell University. It’s free, and it’s really fun you guys! You can walk outside and turn on the recorder and it will tell you which specific birds are singing in your vicinity. The above list was this morning’s singers! If these images aren’t your fancy, I hope you can slow down and take some time to notice the earth warming up around you in a way that you enjoy!
